Today I rode my first century (100 mile bike ride) I completed 103.56 miles. I did this solo with no drafts/help etc. It was a great ride, until well I got slammed by a car door which tore up my side and knocked my knee pretty good. I was pretty lucky I escaped running head first into the door, I was able to swerve fast enough to clip the edge. The first thing I said to the girl that came running up to me was " OW " . She was nice and offered help, water, aid, etc. I was just wanting to finish my ride so I limped on, like a Tour de France moment.
Oh, the bike is fine :)
